Commanding Officer’s Medal of Honor
 
To justify the award, the individual's service must clearly be rendered conspicuous above his or her comrades by an act so outstanding that it clearly distinguishes his or her gallantry beyond the call of duty from lesser forms of bravery; and it must be the type of deed which if not done would not subject the individual to any justified criticism. The deed must be without detriment to the mission of the command or to the command to which attached. This medal is given to a player only once. They must outshine all others on the simm, both IC and OOC and is given for battling overwhelming real life or in character odds to be the best player of the year. Given once a year to the most outstanding player; decided by Adminstration only, and may only be won by a player one time in his career with the Thesis.

This award is given by the Executive Officer to the person who has intricate knowledge of the simulation, and is excellent to work with. This person knows how to make the forum a relaxing atmosphere, and assists in keeping the mood up. They also put great care into their posts, and continuously distinguish themselves IC and OOC.

This award is given to any crewmember that places the welfare of the Thesis and simm above themselves to ensure that ship and simulation continue to excel. They may have RL situations which interfere, however they continue to post.

Awarded to crewmembers who continue to go beyond the standard posting requirements. They are continually involved with the story, and are always advancing the storyline.

Awarded to members who distinguish themselves by exceptionally meritorious service by being the most active person within the simulation. This person is always posting and goes out of their way to make missions more enjoyable.

Awarded to any member who is a pleasure to work with. Recipients post without asking for assistance, and continue to move the story along; they also present new ideas for the betterment of the simulation.

This award is issued to personnel who ignore dangerous situations in order to ensure the lives of their fellow crew and/or allies are preserved at all cost.

Awarded for acts of valour performed under circumstances described above which are of lesser degree than required for award of the Silver Star Medal.

Awarded to any crewmember for defending the Thesis under nearly impossible odds. Recipient is also active in the story when the plotline does not specifically focus on them.

Awarded to the most dynamic ‘away team’ in a mission. This award is not always given out; however, it represents overcoming great obstacles and making the ‘away team’ shine in the mission.

Awarded to any officer or crew who excelled in the involvement of the USS-Thesis in peacekeeping activities, be it IC or OOC.

1. Awarded to those wounded or injured as a direct result of hostile enemy action.

2. Second, those wounded or injured in the direct line of duty, by placing themselves in harm’s way to save the Thesis and/or another life.

3. Or a POW injured or wounded as a result of individually directed conflict or punishment with their captor.

Given to those who recruit quality people for the simulation. The person recruited must stay with the simulation for at least 90 days before the person who recruited them is eligible.
